Every day feels like Earth Day at Richardson Bay! In the spirit of spring cleaning, we've spruced up our events calendar with lots of new opportunities to build community and care for the environment at our Center. With pilot programs aplenty, there are many ways to celebrate and steward your local wildlife. Join us on Friday, June 7th for the first installment of our outdoor Movie Nights series! This family-friendly event will feature a special screening of the PBS documentary Flyways. Looking for an impactful, dynamic youth internship this summer? The Environmental Journalism Program is for you! This crash course in journalistic best practices will allow interns to explore everything from biodiversity to environmental justice using a wealth of multimedia tools. Participants will also receive in-depth lessons in copyediting, composition, and narrative structure and will exit the program with Audubon author bylines to help kickstart future journalistic or conservation endeavors. This rigorous, experiential exploration of California's landscapes, ecologies, and natural histories will be offered to Audubon Youth Leaders starting in the fall of 2024.
