For the 42 Red Alert Tipping Point Species—including the Allen’s Hummingbird—the situation is even more dire: After losing more than 50% of their populations in the past 50 years, they now have perilously low populations. Steep declining trends mean their very survival is at stake—and it’s up to us to bring them back.
