Dear KAREN,

The state legislature's session is nearly complete, and the Audubon California policy team has been hard at work to protect birds, the places they need, and the resources we all depend on. I'm writing to share with you this update on our sponsored and priority bills, information on bonds – a critical conservation financing tool – and ways you can help in the coming weeks and months.

Audubon California saves birds through on-the-ground conservation action and from the state capitol. Through legislation, the state budget, and bond measures, we protect migratory birds, grassland birds, and shorebirds. These protections also benefit people, the soil, our air and our water. If you'd like to support the work, please sign up for our action alerts or donate. We can't do it without you.

Gratefully,
