[World Migratory Bird Day Match] Don’t wait: Make 2X the impact now

Your first annual gift could go 2X as far to power our best work on behalf of birds.
PROTECT BIRDS TODAY

Long-tailed Ducks.

2X Match Active [Double Your Impact]
With its loud, melodious calls and elegant tail plumages, the Long-tailed Duck has long been a hallmark of cold, northern waters. But this once-abundant sea duck is highly vulnerable to rapidly warming waters that are disrupting and depleting the crucial marine food resources it needs across its range. And according to the latest State of Birds report, the Long-tailed Duck is now categorized as an Orange Alert Tipping Point species—meaning they've experienced long-term population losses and accelerated declines within the past decade.

So ahead of World Migratory Bird Day, we’re turning to caring bird lovers like you for help: Please soar to their defense by starting an annual donation right away, while your first gift could go 2X as far, up to $30,000, to power our best work on behalf of birds.
World Migratory Bird Day Match Active. 1 Day to Go. [Donate]
Birds have never faced more crises than they do today. But with more than 120 years of conservation expertise under our wing, we know what it takes to protect the birds we love. Our comprehensive program of research, advocacy, education, and hands-on conservation is powering a path forward to help more birds like the Long-tailed Duck survive at this critical time. With your support, we’re advocating for the protection of 85 key sea duck habitat sites identified by the Sea Duck Joint Venture, reducing carbon emissions, and safeguarding marine foraging zones.

We’re counting on your steadfast support to protect birds and the places they need—not just today, but tomorrow, too. Please don’t wait: Start your annual donation while your first gift could be matched, up to $30,000. Hurry, this special offer ends at midnight tomorrow!

Sincerely,
