2X your power to protect the birds you love
Dear KAREN,

Is there anything more delightful than an unexpected sighting of a hummingbird? Their tiny, bright, flitting forms are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.

But like many other birds, certain hummingbird species are vulnerable to climate change. Two-thirds of North American birds are at increasing risk of climate extinction in the coming decades—and they’re depending on caring bird-lovers like you to help before it’s too late.

We need 100 donors to add their support today to stay on track toward our year-end goal. Will you help protect the birds you love from the growing threats of climate change? Make your annual gift today and it will be matched 2X, up to $500,000, by a group of generous donors—doubling your impact for birds.
We can bring birds back
Found mostly in coastal California, the Allen’s Hummingbird is a gardener’s joy. But fires and heat waves, as well as human development, are adding challenges to its survival. One of the Tipping Point species identified in the latest State of the Birds report, the Allen’s Hummingbird has already seen significant population decline in recent decades—and if we don’t act, it could lose 64% of its current breeding range to climate change, putting its survival at risk.
Year-end match active
We have a plan to bring birds back and ensure them a brighter future. It will take hard work, committed conservation efforts, and pushing for policies that benefit people and birds alike. And we can’t do it without you.

Please make your annual gift today to help protect the birds you love, now with 2X the impact thanks to a group of generous donors. Consider choosing an automatically renewing annual gift—it’s a great way to provide the dependable support birds need today and in the future.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
