Thanks to a group of generous donors, first monthly gift will be matched up to $50,000
Dear KAREN, Climate change is on the rise—and at a time when 3 billion North American birds have disappeared, the added stress of climate change is likely to be more than some species can handle. From warming tundra to deadly heat waves, from dangerous storms to devastating droughts, a changing climate will force many birds to relocate and find new places to breed, nest, and feed. It’s time for all of us who love birds to come together for their protection. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal of 1,000 new monthly donors by Giving Tuesday. To stay on track, we need 169 monthly donors by midnight tonight. Be the friend birds need: make your monthly gift right away. Right now, thanks to a group of generous donors, your first gift will be matched 2X up to $50,000. |

The Great Gray Owl is a formidable night hunter, but its northern forest habitat is vulnerable to a warming world. In fact, 97% of its current breeding range could be lost—putting their very survival at risk. If we don’t step in to help, the magic of spotting one of the largest and most elusive owls in the world could be lost forever. |
