Give monthly, and your first gift will be matched 2X
Dear KAREN, Climate change is impacting many of the places birds need to survive. From droughts to severe storms, from warming winters to brutal summer heat, essential bird habitats are changing faster than many birds can adapt. If they don’t find adequate new places to breed, nest, and feed, two-thirds of North American birds could be lost forever. But there’s still time to change the course on climate change. There’s still time to bring birds back, and with your help, together we’ll fight for their survival. That’s why, ahead of Giving Tuesday, we’re calling on 200 caring bird lovers to show their support TODAY with a monthly gift, to help us stay on track toward our ambitious goal of 1,000 new monthly donors. Start your monthly gift right away, and your first month will be matched 2X, doubling your impact for the birds you love. |

Climate change increases threats for birds like the swift and elegant Aplomado Falcon, as drought makes food and water harder to find in its grassland home. Worse, drought makes wildfires more frequent, and in the spring, early heat waves are threatening vulnerable birds in their nests.
If we don’t act, 77% of its current breeding range could be lost—putting it at risk of disappearing for good. The same climate change-driven threats that put the birds we love at risk will affect other wildlife and people, too. |
