StoryMap: Why the Great Central Valley is Key to 30x30 Success
Dear KAREN,

The Migratory Bird Conservation Partnership, including Audubon California, Point Blue Conservation Science, and The Nature Conservancy just released a new StoryMap to demonstrate why the Great Central Valley is key to 30x30 success. Explore the story map now.

What is 30x30? In 2020, Governor Newsom signed a groundbreaking Executive Order to protect 30% of California's lands and waters by 2030. This goal aims to protect biodiversity, build resilience to climate change, and ensure equitable access to nature for all Californians.

Members of the public are invited to submit written feedback on the state's Draft Pathways to 30x30 Strategy until Tuesday, February 15, 2022. We invite you to make your voice heard and submit your comment here

Together, we will ensure that birds and our communities are thriving and resilient in the Great Central Valley.

Sincerely,

Meghan Hertel
