2X Match Active [Double Your Impact]
As we celebrate Earth Day today, we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come and how far we still must go to protect birds and the places they need from the impacts of climate change. Thanks to the support of bird lovers like you, we have been able to make significant strides in bird conservation. But with the climate crisis growing more dire day after day, our latest science shows one-third of U.S. bird species need conservation action—with 112 species at a “Tipping Point.” Even beloved birds like the Allen's Hummingbird have lost 50% or more of their populations in the past 50 years, with perilously low populations and steep declining trends suggesting more loss if we don’t act now.

We must flock together for their protection before it's too late. So, this Earth Day, please join us with a monthly gift while your first gift could be matched, up to $400,000, for birds and their habitats. Hurry—this special offer ends at midnight tonight!

On behalf of birds and guided by science, we have practical and effective solutions to address the urgent and interconnected problems of biodiversity loss, habitat degradation, and climate change. With your support, we’re restoring and improving the resilience of important landscapes, successfully advocating for climate legislation at the state and federal level, transforming communities into places where birds flourish, and securing the space and clean air and water that birds and people need to live and thrive.
But we must do more while there’s still time to build a brighter future for birds—and for that, we need you. Start your monthly gift before midnight while it can still go twice as far for birds and the places they need.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
