We're counting on 80 new monthly donors to make 2X the impact before midnight >>
KAREN, An icon of the frozen north, Snowy Owls are impressive to behold—large, powerful, and with white feathers perfectly evolved to blend in with their icy habitat. But since 2018, this striking raptor has been listed as a vulnerable species on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, a global resource that reports on extinction risks. If ever there was a time when birds needed the support of passionate people like you—it’s right now. And there’s no better opportunity to help bring birds back than today, ahead of Giving Tuesday. We’ve got a big goal to hit by Giving Tuesday: 1,000 new monthly donors! We’re counting on 80 committed bird lovers to start a monthly gift before midnight to keep us on track toward our goal and power our best efforts on behalf of birds like the Snowy Owl. Thanks to a group of generous donors, your first monthly gift could be matched 2X up to $50,000. |

The 2025 State of the Birds report found that one-third of U.S. birds are in need of conservation action. With population declines happening across all habitats, our science is powering the best path forward to help more birds survive at this critical time. Through research, advocacy, and hands-on conservation action to maintain and protect resilient landscapes and seascapes across the nation, we’re pushing for the large-scale change it will take to ease habitat loss and help reverse the climate crisis for vulnerable birds like the Snowy Owl.
It comes down to this: Where we work—and when you help—birds are better off. So please, be one of the 80 caring friends we’re depending on to start a monthly gift before midnight. Don’t miss this opportunity to do double the good!
Sincerely,
National Audubon Society |
