2X Match: Monthly Donors Needed [Donate Today]
Be the friend birds need before Giving Tuesday. 2X Match Offer: Unclaimed.
KAREN, of all of our 'shorebirds,' the Mountain Plover is the one most disconnected from the shore, generally living miles from water in the dry country of the west. The short-grass prairie where it once thrived has been largely converted to farmland, forcing these birds to seek new habitat in grassland overgrazed by cattle. Still, this pallid plover’s future remains at risk: If we fail to take climate action, 76% of its current breeding range could be lost.

We're not going to sit by and let that happen—and we know you won't either. To power our work for birds with reliable support, we’ve set an ambitious goal of 1,000 new monthly donors by Giving Tuesday. To keep pace on our goal, please be one of the 100 bird lovers we’re counting on to start a monthly donation before midnight. Thanks to a group of generous donors, your first gift could be matched, up to $50,000, to help bring birds back.
Giving Tuesday Match Active [Donate]
On behalf of birds and guided by science, we have practical and effective solutions to address the urgent and interconnected problems of biodiversity loss, habitat degradation, and climate change. With your support, we’re restoring and improving the resilience of important landscapes, successfully advocating for climate legislation at the state and federal level, transforming communities into places where birds flourish, and securing the space and clean air and water that birds and people need to live and thrive.

But we can’t continue this important work without you. Start your monthly gift right away while this match offer can double your impact. Your first gift could go 2X as far to bring birds back—but only until Giving Tuesday!

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society

Help bring birds back with 2X the impact

This Giving Tuesday, make 2X the impact for birds.

Please be one of the 169 donors we’re counting on to make 2X the impact today.

2X Match: Monthly Donors Needed [Donate Today]
Double your impact for birds ahead of Giving Tuesday
KAREN, the Great Gray Owl haunts the woods of the far north and certain high mountains of the west. Its thick, fluffy plumage gives the illusion of greater size than its slender body beneath. But this elusive owl now faces a growing threat: If climate change continues unchecked, a staggering 97% of its current breeding range could be lost—putting its very survival at stake. These birds are counting on you for protection, not just today, but tomorrow, too.

To power our work for birds with reliable support, we’ve set an ambitious goal of 1,000 new monthly donors by Giving Tuesday. Will you help bring birds back with a monthly gift right away? For a limited time, your first monthly gift could be matched to make 2X the impact. To keep pace with our goal, we’re counting on 169 caring friends to join us before midnight tonight, so please, don’t wait!
Giving Tuesday Match Active [Donate]
When you start a monthly gift today, you’ll join a community of our most dedicated bird lovers across the country who help deliver hands-on conservation efforts that are locally focused and guided by region- and bird-specific expertise. Through research, advocacy, and hands-on conservation action to maintain and protect resilient landscapes across the nation, we are also pushing for the large-scale change it will take to ease habitat loss and help reverse the climbing temperatures of the climate crisis.

This work—and all the critical work we do on behalf of birds—can only happen with the support of bird lovers like you. So please, be one of the 169 bird lovers we need to start a monthly donation right away while your first gift could be matched, up to $50,000, to help bring birds back.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
