Help us track how birds are responding to climate change!
Join us in the fight against climate change by volunteering for our upcoming Climate Watch survey season, which runs from January 15 to February 15. With your birding skills, we can advance our understanding of climate change's impact on birds. Climate Watch is a community science program that explores how North American birds are responding to climate change. Twice a year, Climate Watch recruits volunteer bird lovers across the country to count specific bird species so we can track changes in their population. You don't need to be an expert birder to participate, but you should know how to identify target species by sight and sound or be interested in learning to do so. By observing birds in your area and using our specific protocol, you are powering our best efforts to protect birds from the impacts of climate change. | | | | |
