It seems I left out some important details about the xBriefcase and our Kickstarter campaign in my last email.

I'd like to take this chance to answer some of the questions that came up:

Will this fit under the seat on an airplane?

Yes! The exact dimensions of the xBriefcase are 16 x 12 x 5 inches / 40 x 30 x 12 cm and it easily fits under the seat of any commercial airplane.

Will my laptop fit in it?

The laptop sleeve of the xBriefcase is designed to hold laptops up to 16 inches.

Why are you launching on Kickstarter instead of your website?

We're launching the xBriefcase on Kickstarter in order to crowdsource both the final design (through your feedback) as well as the funding for the production of the first order. 

Additionally, we're able to offer significant discounts on Kickstarter. By reserving your xBriefcase through Kickstarter, you'll get the lowest prices that we will ever offer for xBriefcase and also get it in your hands before we launch it on our website.

What will be the price of the xBriefcase?

The MSRP of the xBriefcase is $499. The Kickstarter special price will be $349. The price for VIP reservations will be $299.

What is this VIP reservation and how does it work?

By making a $10 deposit today, you'll get access to these additional perks:

• Our best discount of $200 off
• Early access to our campaign page
• Get your order shipped earlier than everyone else

You will still need to pledge the remaining amount on Kickstarter when the campaign is live. Your VIP reservation is fully refundable at any time before June 28.

When is your Kickstarter campaign?

Our Kickstarter campaign will launch on May 9 and run until June 28. The amount you pledge will only be charged when the campaign ends. You may cancel your pledge and/or request a refund of your $10 deposit at any time before June 28.
