Dear KAREN, Do you LOVE stories about birds? So do we! We warmly invite you to enjoy a delightful evening of birdy story-sharing. This month, the story theme is THE GIFT THAT A BIRD GAVE ME: Have birds gifted you with a message, a feather, or a visit? Have they been a fly-along companion in your journey? This time of year ushers in the opportunity to slow down and reflect upon the gifts we give and receive in our lives. What joy have birds brought into your life? Our guest storyteller is Evelyn Serrano from the Audubon Center at Debs Park. She will share a story about the gift of passionate curiosity from her grandparents who deliver special messages with Mourning Doves. Register (FREE) for The Bird Story Hour on Thursday, December 8th, at 6pm PST. *Note: This virtual event is limited to 300 people. Admission is available on a first-come, first-served basis. How it works: You're invited to share a five-minute tale (optional) via ZOOM. You are also welcome to just sit back and enjoy the show! Participate in whatever way makes you happy. We welcome our Audubon community to share stories from all walks of life and all the ways we encounter birds. Like birds, our stories can be tiny beautiful moments or high-flying adventures. Whether it's about the sparrow that crossed your path on a sidewalk or eagles cartwheeling across the sky, we'd love to hear about it. This is a safe and inclusive story-telling space. Come join us!
