Celebrate Black Birders Week with Audubon
We are proud to support Black Birders Week 2024, a celebration of Black birders, bird conservation, environmental justice, and community care. Learn more about the Black experience in STEM and the birding community by getting involved.

This year, Audubon will also be hosting "Wings of Justice: Birding While Black," a virtual panel discussion this Tuesday, May 28 at 5 p.m. ET delving into the unique experiences and challenges faced by Black birders in today's outdoor and birding communities.

Through thoughtful dialogue and personal narratives, our panelists will explore the intersection of race, identity, and nature, highlighting the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in birding and environmental conservation.

Whether you're an avid birder, a nature enthusiast, or simply curious about the experiences of Black individuals in outdoor spaces, this panel promises to be an enlightening and inspiring conversation.
